Everywoman Significant is borne out of the Women’s Ministry at C3 Bowral, Australia. We are a not for profit group, at times using our creativity to raise funds for women and children in need around the world.
Whilst our focus is (and always will be) building local community, we understand the shifting culture we live in and embrace the opportunities the internet provides to cultivate a much broader community of Christian women. At this moment, we are waiting on God to lead us in the direction that He has planned for this group, we hope you stay for the journey.
The character of a godly women is built upon the foundations of her faith, which is rooted and grounded in the Word of God.
Unfortunately, so often in today’s Christian circles, many precious women of God are struggling to live the Christian life, feeling as if they are failing or that this faith life just doesn’t work (and I have been one of them at times). Most of the time they are neglecting the source of the truth and life that is found in God’s Word.
We live in a fast-paced world, with constant streams of information, entertainment, distractions. It isn’t necessarily that the content of this information stream is bad, per se, we have so much Christian material at our fingertips – Christian television, podcasts, phone apps, etc. But in some ways this can be the worst distraction.
Because the message is only of real value if we slow down long enough to truly and deeply take in the truth of what is being presented to us. We need to take the time to extract the goodness and nourishment necessary for our growth from it.
We need to ‘engage’ in it, with each other.
Our goal is to encourage you to embark on a journey (or to continue on the journey) to find the treasure hidden within His Word and then to live out of that truth, in the spirit of Christian community. We believe that godly Christian community is a necessary keystone to help us do that, and the internet can be an ideal media to help us achieve this. (what may have been meant for evil, has been turned around for good, perhaps?)
Let’s discover together the true joys and riches of the community of Christian life, developing a closer, deeper walk with God by not only treasuring, but living by, the very living truth of His amazing Word.
Have you ever pondered what sort of a legacy you will leave behind on this earth, if we go home before Christ’s return?
I see the last 2000 years of Christianity a bit like a relay race, each runner in turn through the generations passing on the baton of the light found in the Word of God. We want to be a part of that race, passing on the Word of God to the next generation, and we would like to encourage you to do so too.
When the Son of man returns to this earth, will He find faith?
Yes, I believe He will, if we continue to cherish, teach and live His precious Holy Word – sisters together, growing in Christ.
